Alamo Learning Systems is a world-class management consulting and training firm that has been improving the business processes of companies for 27 years. We have a comprehensive series of highly rated instructor-led training programs and a variety of quality-based consulting services. Although Alamo is noted within training circles for its sophisticated products, we are best known for our client-centered focus and the flexibility to adapt to every customer's unique situation. Alamo began business in 1976 with a highly successful training program for improving problem solving, problem prevention, and decision-making skills . From this early success, we grew into a nationally recognized player in the field of continuous improvement. Over the next decade, we selectively developed a product line of continuous improvement programs that resolves the problematic issues typically encountered by management in every organization. In 1993, the effects of the globalization of business were being felt on the shores of the U.S. To satisfy the quality demands of the new international market, a universal standard known as ISO 9000 was introduced as the equalizer between varying interpretations of quality management system requirements. Because the core concepts of ISO 9000 so closely matched Alamo's approach to TQM, we made the strategic decision to enter the standards implementation arena. This decision was reinforced by the fact that a successful quality management system is a direct result of effective training, and we believed we had one of the best, most comprehensive training systems in the business. Our ISO 9000 Fast Track implementation program was developed in partnership with the American Electronics Association and has been used by more companies in the U.S. than any other. The year 2000 saw many changes for Alamo as more and more organizations adopted the Internet as a way of doing business. We began an organic change in the delivery of our products by shifting to and including technology-driven training and consulting. In 2000, Alamo began its eLearning program, offering ISO 9000 awareness training. This has been followed with our flagship course, AdvantEdge, being offered via eLearning. In addition to this, we offer a complete Testing and Assessment suite and we completed a WTO course for the Chinese Government. Alamo has continued to expand into China following the success of our WTO course with our founder’s book, The Leaders Edge, becoming a best seller there. We have opened a Beijing office and offer training throughout China. In 2004, Alamo began offering the Fast Track to China – a turnkey approach for businesses looking to enter the Chinese market. |
