Congratulations to Rantec Power Systems. Inc. for achieving its ISO 9001:1994 certification on December 13, 2001. Through Pat Ryan's dedicated efforts and a strong core team of process owners and internal auditors, the company successfully completed all Fast Track program activities, including a quality system gap analysis, in 5 months. Rantec's registrar, Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, found no major nonconformities in the final audit and complemented the company on its excellent internal communications and understanding of in-process control tools.

Rantec, a subsidiary of ESCO Technologies, is located in Los Osos, California. The company was founded in 1956 to research, design, develop, test, and manufacture various power conversion products such as high voltage power supplies, low voltage power supplies, DC/DC converters, and power systems products. Rantec's products serve the medical, aviation, defense, and communications industries.
