Facilitator Training

The best intellectual content is only as good as the facilitation that transfers that content to others. For that reason, we have diligently strived to provide the highest quality FACILITATOR CERTIFICATION PROCESS for our clients.

Our work and research have led to a detailed list of competencies and a certification process that develops these competencies for individuals.

We define a competency according to the extensive work done by The International Board of Standards for Training, Performance and Instruction (IBSTPI) as a "knowledge, skill, or attitude that enables one to effectively perform the activities of a given occupation or function to the standards expected in employment." Competencies are statements of observable behaviors not intangible beliefs, traits, or motivations.

Audience

Facilitator Training and Certification is appropriate for anyone who trains or teaches, whether they are just getting started or very experienced. The program will give them the skills they need to improve their in-class presentation.

Delivery

The Facilitator Training and Certification workshop is conducted by Alamo’s own certified facilitators. The course is five days in length and concludes with the certification of the students in the class.
