			Alamo’s Project Success provides a systematic approach to successful project management. Project Success is about achieving a specific goal within a given deadline and budget. Regardless of the complexity, you must break the project into manageable tasks or activities, schedule the tasks, assign responsibilities for tasks, and are able to track tasks as the project progresses. Objectives At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to: Explain why projects require managing and describe the elements of Project Success Identify what is needed to establish solid foundations for your projects, including ensuring a clear relationship to organization goals and strategies Organize project tasks, resources, and timelines to effectively accomplish the project goal and select appropriate planning methods to see the project through to completion Apply analytical methods to maximize the use of time, anticipate trouble, manage obstacles and risk, and increase the likelihood of project success Effectively monitor and guide the project resources to keep the project moving, track and ensure progress, and report project status and results Outline Project Success is presented in four modules: Define, Plan, Analyze and Implement. Define – Ensure your project is aligned with and supports your organization’s mission, goals, and other projects. Steps include: Clarify the purpose of the project Create a project charter to document important project components Identify project customers, stakeholders, and team members Plan – Identify the appropriate level of detail. Develop a project roadmap, outlining, and work breakdown structure. Create basic work plans, including Gantt and Network Diagrams. Identify time constraints and resources. Steps include: Use estimating for making decisions Calculate the critical path Anticipate potential problems Implement – Monitor the progress and mange resource allocations and availability. Steps include: Use the GRPR+L model Recognize the importance of meetings Identify types of interference Select applicable reports and presentations Audience Project Success is ideal for any team or individual participating in a project, from top management to front line employees. The program is most effective if small intact teams are available to work together on real world projects. Delivery Project Success is a full 2-day, hands-on workshop that can be conducted by Alamo's own facilitators. Alamo's trainers have extensive background to make best use of the principles taught. A train-the-trainer program is also available and enables you to make the skills a core element of your in-house training program.
